There is a wrong Perception on Caesarean Section as a taboo in Nigeria and many other African counties or not the "Hebrew Woman" way of child by some religious folks. It is interesting to know that this Ignorance is one of the major Factors that leads to the high rate of maternal/infant mortality in Nigeria and some African counties. We are working towards dispelling this myth and wrong perception on C.S. We advocate on the Vital need for C.S if recommended by a doctor as the only option for a safe baby delivery. We encourage mothers to use the Health Care Facilities instead of Patronising Traditional Birth Attendants(TBAs) and Prayer Houses and also to consider the safety of their lives and babies first before the traditional and doctrinal beliefs of their churches. Our goal is to bring the rate of maternal /infant mortality to the barest minimal.
